FUEL SURCHARGE
Unfortunately BMT has been placed into a position where it is necessary to charge a minimal fuel surcharge of $30 added on to all our services pricing effective "Immediately".
We truly regret having to do this! BMT has always had an all inclusive rate. We don't charge extra for travel, more people, bigger boats, materials, tax and we never will!! If fuel prices drop well below $3/Gallon, we will remove this surcharge.
BMT has not raised prices in over 2 years and will keep all 2008 pricing the same as last year.
We truly appreciate your business, please contact us with any questions you may have. Again, we apologize in advance for this unfortunate situation.

SCHEDULING NOTES FOR TRAINING
At BMT, we feel first come...first served is the only fair way to schedule customers. We only use the Best Captains and our standards are quite high.
Scheduling is sometimes difficult, therefore, we ask that you have several dates available for training and for your patience! (Although we're blamed often, BMT has no control over bad weather!)
Warning:
Make sure the 'professional Captain' you're considering is truly a professional? Did you know you DON'T have to prove your boat handling skills to become a USCG Captain? That's right, it's a classroom course! Ask if they're insured, what their background is, what materials they offer, do they have referrals and are they members of Marine Trades. Do they have more than just a business card! At BMT, our Captains are on-water tested, fully insured, have teaching backgrounds, are Master's Licensed and they must meet strict qualifications to work with us. BOATBOY MARINE TRAINING IS NOW QUALIFIED TO TEACH THE NJ STATE CERTIFIED BOATING COURSE!

Boatboy Marine Training through their affiliation with NJ Boating Safety Classes* is now approved to offer the NJ State Boating Safety Certificate. This certificate is available only with our two-session Skipper Course on your boat at your dock on your waterway. After completion of the training, you'll be given a 50 question exam (same as the classroom) and once you receive a passing grade, you will have satisfied the NJ Boating Safety Certificate Requirement.
