We are a group of marine industry professionals who felt there was a need to start an "On The Water" instruction company to help the average boater enjoy this great lifestyle and have fun.

We call it "Boatboy Marine Training". We have over 20 years of industry experience ranging from marine dealers to sales instructors to manufacturing marine accessories and safety equipment as well as working for industry leaders like Mercury and OMC. A few of us have USCG Masters Licenses and we all own boats and live what we train ! We have been trained in CPR, First Aid, USCG Auxiliary Classes, Power Squadron, professional selling skills with OMC & Mercury and have good general boating knowledge.

What separates us from other companies is the fact that we do "Hand's-On" training right at the Customer's Dock with Their Boat on Their Waterway! We are not a classroom training company. We recommend our customers take a classroom course like the USCG Auxiliary or Power Squadron. We want to bridge the gap between taking knowledge learned in the classroom directly to the water where our customers do their boating.

We all feel that the time has come for this service. We have often witnessed boaters struggling with docking, anchoring or just driving their boat. We think the lack of boat use comes from lack of knowledge. Our course will give them the knowledge and in turn will build confidence. If more boaters had more confidence, the whole industry would be so much better for it. We offer our services to Marinas and Dealers as well for the boats they sell, service and store.

We supply an easy to understand waterproof laminated handbook that they can use time and again while they are actually cruising. We offer standard or customized instruction based on our customer's needs; detailed information on their boat, and professional licensed and insured patient captains. We stress safety and more safety. We have created an "Emergency Scenario Manual" with step by step instructions on what to do if an emergency should arise.

We are presently seeking certification and membership in the following organizations: BOAT/U.S., NASBLA, NMMA, USCG Aux., NSBC, ABYC, MTANJ, and will be State Instructor Certified in NJ, PA, DE, & MD.
