Our "Hands-On" training bridges the gap from classroom instruction to practical, actual experience. We teach boating with a "Fun" organized curriculum using USCG licensed, experienced, tested, professional Captains offering the driving portion of instruction. Our customers gain confidence as they become safe, skilled boat operators. They learn to enjoy the "Boating Lifestyle" on their boat, at their dock, on their waterway with their family and friends.

Make sure the ´professional Captain´ you're considering is truly a professional? Did you know there is no practical hands-on testing to obtain your Coast Guard Captain's License! Anyone can 'attest' to your sea-time and if you pass the classroom course, you can get your 'ticket'! Ask if they're insured, what their background is, what materials they offer, do they have referrals and are they members of Marine Trades. Do they have more than just a business card!

At BMT, our Captains are on-water tested, fully insured, have teaching backgrounds, are Master's Licensed and they must meet strict qualifications to work with us. Other so called hands-on companies are copying our courses, don't be fooled!
