Boatboy Marine Training is growing rapidly. We are looking for
QUALIFIED CAPTAINS. We now cover 6 states including NJ, PA, DE,
MD, FL and Lower NY including all of Long Island.

This is an independent part-time
position that may lead to future career opportunities. If you
have a "passion" for being on the water, enjoy training
great people, love boating, looking for some extra income, want
flexibility, and to have fun, this may be the position for you.
We offer a high commission, flexibility and
a fun work environment.
You MUST possess the following minimum
qualifications to be considered for an Instructor Captain's position:
- USCG Master's License with
15 years on-water experience.
- Driver's License with clean
record.
- Must be drug free and a member of a Random Drug Consortium.
- Natural ability to handle
a boat including experience on OB's, I/O's, IB's & Twin
I/O's.
- Experience in the 20'-40'
range, especially Twin I/O's.
- Keen understanding of Wind
& Current.
- All around excellent boat handling
skills.
- Great people skills with sense
of humor and confidence. No Egos allowed!
- Track record in some form
of training or teaching.
- Computer skills - including
internet, email, MS Word, etc.
- Possibility of doing some
light travel.
- Must have availability on weekdays
(especially Fridays).
The interviewing and hiring process
consists of:
- Sending a resume or letter of
application.
- Conducting a phone interview.
- An in-depth, in-person interview.
- On-water testing of boat handling skills and docking
drills.
- Testing your understanding of
wind & current.
- At Boatboy, we test your on-water
skills and boat handling ability. We pride ourselves on

In response to our rapid growth at Boatboy Marine Training, the growth of Captain's Schools & Licensed Captains and inquiries to expand our services to other recreational boating areas, Boatboy Marine Training will be offering a comprehensive, unique licensing opportunity to Qualified Captains starting in the Fall of 2007.
This will be an independent part-time opportunity with an initial fee and a declining percentage of gross sales each year. The licensee will have use of our proprietary materials, handbooks, toll-free number, website access, media ads, logos, affiliations, insurance, etc. as well as a nationally backed marketing plan and years of experience training hundreds and hundreds of boaters. This is truly a ground floor opportunity!

We'll offer the licensee a turnkey, comprehensive, profitable package that can be implemented wherever there are recreational boaters and marine dealers. Your territory will be protected and marketed so as to offer the fastest return on investment in the smallest amount of time.
